The ergonomic polystyrene microbeads allow this cylinder-shaped cushion to offer a wide variety of possible uses. When positioned in lateral decubitus, it supports the patient's abdomen, thus preventing them from rolling to the sides and bumping into the bed rails.
 It can be used between the legs, under the knees or ankles to prevent friction. In the supine position, placed under the bend of the knees, it provides firm enough support to prevent possible reverse curvature of the joint and soreness in the area. Positioned below the ankles, it is perfect for relieving pressure on the heels.
